For VIERxVIER, Peeled Collective created het vouwen van stemmen (eng. translation: the folding of voices), a personal dance theater performance that explores the theme of transgenerational trauma, through poetry written by Emma Hanekroot and visual art inspired by her text, created by Emma Versluys. With these elements and in collaboration with composer Merit Vessies and performer Ischa Statie they created a dynamic and surreal dance duet. In this duet light, image. music and movement merge in an equal and unique way.

These illustrations were incorporated in the performance by projecting them through the space and on the bodies of the performers, with a projector.
